anw the past wk was spent at National Skin Centre for WEP! it was fun, though there was so much stoning. kimberly, willette and i spent alot of time in the staff lounge drinking tea and learning how to solve the rubrik cube. i think the staff there also didn't know what to do with us cuz they were so busy. 1st day was at the lab, which was pretty interesting. we got to look through the microscope and the red blood cell was this circle in a circle thing and the white blood cell was pretty much just a dot and the crystals were this square with a cross in it. :) there was alot of walking cuz we had to go to and fro from NSC (novena) and DSC (bugis). luckily we had the RJC girls to lead the way! 2nd day was at the pharmacy, which was fun and tiring. first we watched them packing the medicine, then we did some sort of stocktaking, checking the stocks for expiry dates and writing them down. it was really draining, cuz we had to check every bottle and packet. 3rd day at DSC which was basically talks. there was this really funny moment cuz the guy had nothing to say to us and we had nothing to say to him so we just talked about random stuff. then we saw him at the staff lounge and it was so awkward! haha. but he was a nice guy :). 4th and 5th day at the FG clinics, where we saw mostly warts and hair loss problems and injections. jason was really funny haha. we also got to spray the liquid nitrogen on this guy's feet! he was really nice to let us spray cuz we're not nurses. and it was so funny cuz when i sprayed he said it wasn't painful then when willette took over he said it was painful. HAH i make a better nurse! yeah and there was this guy who kept saying his blood was black! hahaha so funny. and there was this really handsome guy who came in heh x) yup all these really great stuff happen and make our day there! it's a really good experience and i'll miss all the nurses and staff there! it seems like we've known them for more than a week. :)
